Anne Celeste Heche - an American actress, who appeared in various genres of film, theatre and television - was a well known American. Her work was recognized with numerous awards, including her Daytime Emmy Award as well as a National Board of Review Award. Anne Lockhart, born Anne Kathleen Maloney in September 1953 was an American actress from the United States. She is known best for playing Lieutenant Sheba in her role in the Battlestar Galactica television series (1978-1979). She is the granddaughter and daughter of actors Gene Lockhart, as well as actor June Lockhart. Her career began in a young age. Agents could have rejected the role for her, but not even known. She was initially chosen for the part by Glen Larson who sent her an extremely preliminary script to play the role on the 1978 TV series Battlestar Galactica. Her initial reaction was to decline the role since the character did not seem to be strong enough. Later Glen wrote a new part just for her with a much stronger character named Sheba. The first 25-page script was read to her and she immediately agreed. The show lasted for just one season. The actress was in Joyride the 1977 film featuring Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine (son Desi Arnaz Jr. Lucille and Lucille) in addition to with Robert Carradine. In 1987 she appeared in a co-production with Michael Moriarty and The Dark Tower.
