Sharon Yvonne Stone, born March 10, 1958 from Meadville (Pennsylvania), is her mother's Dorothy Lawson, a former factory worker, as well as Joseph William Stone, a tool maker and die maker. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her three siblings. Stone is a gifted student when she was a young child, began her second grade education at the age of five. Stone graduated from Saegertown High School in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. She was crowned Miss Crawford County, she took part in the Miss Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant. Stone moved together with her aunt from New Jersey, where she was interested in pursuing a modeling career. The following month, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. She soon relocated to Europe and spent a full year with her aunt in Milan as well as Paris. Stone, disillusioned at the model world in Europe took up acting as she lived in Europe. Woody Allen's film, "Stardust Memories", was a mixed success when she was 20.
